If you care deeply about your writing but still feel unsure about your pages, you’re not alone.
Maybe you’re writing regularly or maybe you’re stuck in fits and starts. Either way, the real frustration is the same: you don’t know whether what you’re putting on the page is working. You’re left wondering if a scene is flat, if your prose is pulling its weight, or if you’re even focusing on the right things when you sit down to write or revise.
That uncertainty makes everything harder. It slows your momentum, chips away at your confidence, and turns writing into a cycle of second-guessing.
That’s why I’ve created a writing workshop that replaces guesswork with clarity. You’ll get specific, manuscript-based feedback from a published author and experienced coach—so you can see what’s working, understand what needs adjustment, and build confidence in your writing as it is now, not as you think it “should” be.
A Workshop Built Around Your Actual Pages
This isn’t about abstract craft lessons or trying to “fix” an entire novel at once. It’s about working with the pages you have right now and learning how to make them stronger one scene at a time.
You’ll be part of a small, focused group of serious novelists who are committed to improving their work and showing up for the process together. The next cohort begins in January 2026.
What Makes This Workshop Different
Most writing advice sounds helpful but leaves you unsure how to apply it. This workshop is different, because everything starts with your manuscript.
You’ll receive clear, actionable feedback that helps you:
Spot passive voice and weak verbs that drain energy from your scenes
Turn flat or vague descriptions into immersive moments that pull readers in
Stay grounded in the present moment instead of overloading scenes with backstory
Navigate point-of-view shifts without confusing or disorienting the reader
Build writing habits that are supported by structure, feedback, and accountability
This isn’t theory for theory’s sake. It’s about visible improvement and growing confidence on the page.
How the Writing Workshop Works
Small Group Sessions
You’ll meet twice a month with me and 3–4 other writers. This is a live, interactive environment, not a self-paced course or a one-way critique.
Flexible Scheduling
Session times are set based on group availability, making it easier to commit and stay consistent.
Manuscript-Based Coaching
Every session centers on real pages—yours or another writer’s—so you can see exactly what’s effective, what needs work, and how to approach revision with intention.
Ongoing Feedback and Learning
Each writer submits work for feedback once per month. You’ll receive direct feedback every other session and strengthen your own craft by reading, marking, and discussing your peers’ pages.
Is This Workshop a Good Fit?
This workshop is for writers who are ready to move beyond uncertainty and start writing with direction.
You’re a strong fit if:
You want clear, specific feedback instead of vague encouragement
You’re ready to engage consistently, even if your writing routine isn’t perfect yet
You’re done circling the same questions and want to make real progress
If you want to feel more confident about the scenes you’re writing and build momentum that lasts, this is a meaningful next step.
The Investment
$300 per month. Focused coaching, consistent feedback, and real forward movement.
The January 2026 cohort is intentionally small to preserve depth, attention, and trust within the group.
