Submission Audit
Want to submit to agents, editors or contests? Looking for reliable feedback on your writing?
In this package, I read 3,000-4,500 words of your work and meet with you for an hour to go over the steps you need to take to bring your work up to publishable quality (if it’s not already there).
Price: $350
Book Coaching
One-on-one private coaching (min. four-month commitment)
- You submit your work for feedback and support on a regular basis. I mark each submission with tracked changes, giving you feedback that we go over together.
- We meet for an hour after each submission to discuss my feedback, talk craft, and create next steps for your progress — and the project’s.
- Initially each submission is limited to 12 pages, then ramps up as we continue.
- I help you set up weekly accountability tracking so you can hit your goals!
- I answer your questions via email as they arise.
Pricing:
$2,000 for six submissions and calls (must use within four months of purchase)
$3,000 for ten submissions and calls (must use within seven months of purchase)
Manuscript Evaluation
Get feedback on — and move toward perfecting — your full manuscript.
Hearing from an outside reader can be invaluable as you fine-tune your book. Especially when this reader is a professional who is well-versed in the craft of book writing and navigating the publishing landscape.
- I provide comprehensive feedback on your writing using the Track Changes tool throughtout your manuscript and via a detailed letter that covers strengths and areas for improvement.
- I work with you to create a personalized plan for revision, outlining specific next steps.
- I meet with you a total of three times: before I read your work, once you’ve received my feedback and had a chance to digest it, and at a point in your revision process when you have questions you’d like to discuss.
Price: $3,500 (based on an 80,000 word novel; manuscripts over 80,000 words have a surcharge of $.04 per word).
